Due to a permanent failure of the ERS-2 tape recorder, the availabilty of GOME data coverage is limited to the region where ERS-2 is in direct contact with ground stations

This is the GOME trace gas image archive at the IUP/ife Bremen. Choose a product type (Gas, Viewing angle, format, date), then click OK. For other maps than ozone the archive is not complete, but missing maps will come soon!

ERS-2 Region Selection for Total Ozone:

Change the below entries for an ozone map of your region based on GOME LV2 archive at the IUP/ife Bremen. Select a day and type absolute values in degree [°]), then click OK. This mode generates PNG images. The height to width ratio is approx. 2.7/2.

Note: This mode calculates maps based on GOME-Lv2 data online. Therefore you will have to wait for the image up to a minute - depending on the system load and the fact whether intermediary files must be calculated or are already present.
